Overview
SeatWeave is an offline event seating, guest-group and check-in manager. This policy describes how the Android application handles guest and event information when you use its local tools. This policy describes the app as implemented in the included source release.
1. Information stored on your device
SeatWeave lets you enter event names, dates, locations, notes, guest names, group labels, RSVP statuses, seating table assignments, and check-in records. Some of this information may identify individuals. The app stores these records locally in its private Android database. You decide which details to enter; please avoid unnecessary sensitive information.
2. No automatic cloud collection
SeatWeave does not request the INTERNET permission and does not integrate advertising, analytics, tracking SDKs, a remote database, login, or cloud synchronization. Guest and event records are not automatically sent to RESTAURANT GUYS, LLC or an app-operated server. The core features work without an internet connection.
3. Local reports and sharing
You can choose to create guest-list CSV files, seating-plan PDFs and check-in PDFs. These files may contain personal data about your guests. Android’s document picker lets you choose where to save them. If you choose a cloud or shared location in your device’s document picker, that destination provider may handle the files according to its own terms. SeatWeave does not automatically upload these exports.
4. Encrypted backup and restore
You can create a password-protected, portable backup. SeatWeave uses AES-GCM encryption with a key derived from the password you provide. Backups are only written to a destination you select and can be restored when you supply the correct password. There is no password recovery service. Keep your password and exported files safe.
5. Retention, deletion, and security
Event data is retained in the app’s local storage until you edit it, delete records, use Settings > Delete all event data, or uninstall the app. The app requests Android not to automatically back up its private data. Removing app data does not delete copies of reports or backup files saved elsewhere. Device locks and secure file handling remain important.
6. Contacting support
Tapping Contact Support opens a compatible email application addressed to info@restaurantguys.site. A message is not sent unless you review and send it from that email app. Any information you choose to email is handled by your email provider and the receiving support mailbox. Please do not email guest lists or passwords unless necessary and authorized.
7. Children and sensitive content
SeatWeave is a general event-planning tool, not designed specifically for children. It does not require medical, payment-card, or banking information. You are responsible for entering guest information lawfully and protecting any information about minors or other individuals included in your event records.
8. Changes and contact
